MAFIPRO, GUINEA FOODS and SFI are 3 companies from the group Denis Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. This agri-food group, aged over 160 years, from French origins and based in Singapore, is having a leadership position on the market in South-East Asia with the brand “Ayam Brand”. Its main activities are the production of fish and vegetables in cans, Asian sauces in cans, glass and pouches as well as the distribution of leading European products.

The site of Taiping (North of Peninsular Malaysia), where the intern is held, gather 3 companies that employ around 1,000 people for the following activities:
MAFIPRO: fish canning (3 factories);

• GUINEA FOODS: fish canning (1 factory) and other food products (sauces, seasonings … 1 factory).
• SFI FOOD: logistics and storage of frozen fish and finished products.

The total production of the industrial sites is around 80 million cans per year, mainly for the South-East Asia market (Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia …) and export markets (Oceania, Europe and North America), with high-quality requirements related to Ayam Brand. The factories are certified under the standards required by the markets (ISO 9001, ISO14001, HACCP, GMP, Halal, EEC reg, FDA reg, BRC for Guinea Foods, etc.).
